New Cartoon Book is done!

will be trying to 'sow' some order this weekend. todd's got a cartoon booklent coming out and is

ruminating on another cd project. need to make a 'to do' list. things work better that way.

One Eyed Exercises :)

the other week Jenny, Todd, and Todd's Kids (lily and desmond) did some

'one eyed' drawing' exercises. it was Jenny's idea and it was great fun.

this is a collaboration...todd did the picture...Jenny colored...she's

one of the best color-ers

she colors me

she colors me with markers and pens,
my splotchy paint makes her smile.
and now it seems we're really good friends,
we've been at this now just awhile...

her ideas, she shares, so i carve and i cut,
with out regard for a thing.
i encourage her to play like a child,
rejoicing in each scribbled thing....

Birds good...Donkeys Great!

jenny and i went to the bracken bird farm. they have an amazing assortment of birds. outside of the main store lies an area for their camel, turkeys, scottish highland cow-things, regular cows, and yes, their DONKEYS. i think we savored each part of the visit, but the highlight may have been when the donkeys who seemed to be hiding behind their slat wood and tin shelter slowly made their way up to the fence where we were standing. why would they do that? two beauties just walked up stood there and stared at us as we fawned over them and spake tender words of affection to them. then, after a time, one went poo poo and they turned toward their shelter...
